We are currently on C&CC site ( Winchcombe) this is our first year as members. Personally we won't be joining again , I think this particular site is expensive (£170.00 for two with electric) for seven nights. Don't get me wrong the wardens are great and the site is clean. However the shower block is not very well designed, cubicles are small and you cant adjust the water temp, to use the hairdryers it's 20p. This is nothing I know but when you pay a premium for the site in the first place I wouldn't expect that. Washing up area is inadequate too small and exposed to the elements. One chemical disposal point, and all the bins are up one end of the site, so if you are at the far end of the site it's a bit of a trek.
I spoke to chap who had a tent for one night as a non member he paid£38.00.
I suppose you pays your and takes your choice, but for us we will stick to independent sites which we have found to be a whole lot better and cheaper.
Just our opinion of course
That's not very good at all. I've just spent a wonderful week at Ross Park in Devon - the best site I have ever seen. Always spotlessly clean, excellent showers and not too expensive as there's no charge for awnings or dogs. Dogs have the most fantastic facilities too!
It was our last outing with our caravan, it's getting put in for the motorhome tomorrow.
We're joining the Motor Caravanners' Club and we'll have a time with them and see how we get on. Hoping to see a lot more of the country now and maybe even go abroad for the first time.

Funny you mention that site, we were there earlier this year loved it.Reasonable rates, fantastic facilities. We are going back next year for sure. Knocks Winchcombe into a cocked hat.
