Our 20 year old diesel engine is loud enough to drown out any rattles from the rear of the MH (grills, plates, hangers). But I've not been successful in stopping the over-cab locker door rattling - tried those stick-on fuzzy pads but it's still tapping. So, like my tinnitus, I just zone it out.
I think overall, for a vehicle that's been adapted from a commercial it's very quiet. I was planning to add extra soundproofing to the cab and engine area but it's not needed.
With the help of all these suggestions and a few of my own, it's sorted!
Thanks.
would love to know what BIL stands for wendyhouse. and it took me ages to decnpher ehu - any chance of a glossary on this website I wonder.
on the actual point though - rubbery draught excluder strips as sold at B&Q etc for round your house doors and wildows is a great rattle ald bang stopper. I have it on kitchen cabinet doors at home and feel sure it's worth a try on Fiona W's overhead. door.
