I have not had any issues filling out gaslow system at any service station using an autogas pump.
The only slight problem I had is that one station required me to face the van the "wrong way" in order to have the filler cap on the near side to the pump and this was not allowed for health and safety reasons.
We tend to use a shell garage at solihull near to home and top up fairly regularly and because the longest were are away is 2 weeks we rarely need to top up on our travels.
If you plan on traveling to france or wider Europe with your van the don't forget to carry the correct adaptor for the that country just in case.
------------- It's only an expensive hobby when it's parked on your Drive....use it, love it , live it.
Hi bcwench, if you use the garage at the Bell, Belbroughton you could also use the BP filling station in Bromsgrove Birmingham road A38 where you will have no problem filling up with gas, we use that one all the time. You also get a few pennies off over a certain amount. This might be a little out of your way but its just a thought if your over this way.

As with what 'Nora' replied the Asda stores up here have LPG pumps and some of them are now "unmanned" ie card only pay pumps. Maybe this could be salvation.
Will look out for theses, might be too much to ask that the one that is less than a mile away would put in a gas pump!?
Many thanks for reply.
Regards.
I can't answer this one as I am not a Continental traveler, the only time I would contemplate leaving theses beautiful shores would be to visit the almost as beautyiul shores of Ireland, although have resently discovered the travel restrictions on dogs on the ferrys which have grounded us for the foreseeable future as our little dog does not travel well and so would not put her through the trauma at her age?
Thank you just got back from Europe after 3 months now off again in May for a couple of months or so, but this time we will be using our gaslow system so it will be used for the first time and its not be fill yet only gassed for checking the system.
No problem filling up in Europe, Spain has fewer autogas outlets but even there there are more than here in Scotland (my nearest one is 15 miles away) Don't wait to fill up in Belgium, do it before you go, at least the pump will fit you intake here, you'll need 3 adaptors to cover the different fittings in Europe, sometimes garages will have one, but not always
If travelling to Scotland come off the M6 at J40 (Penrith) and take the A66 west towards Workington and at the roundabout in 1/2 mile go into the Rheged filling station and fill up with gas there. I've never had a problem filling the underslung gas tank in the van (with external filling point). When you come out of the garage go around the roundabout back to the M6 - a total detour of 1 mile.
The petrol/diesel price is also better than on the M'way and if you want a break have a look in Rheged itself.
