Yes badge' - our doggie, my guitar and oh - yes my wife never get left behind! I also take a few 'harps'.
We are members of the Adria Club - had a fun week last April during a week in Normandy - after noticing (like you do) about 4 other club members with guitars and 1 banjo - a hastily formed 'Folk Band'performed a concert (?)for all comers in the camp-site bar. Our efforts seemed to be appreciated but I suspect the consumption of a strong Belgian beer by most of the audience helped. (We were christened 'The Adriaires' by the way.) Most of us were of a certain age who were around in the '60's - which we can't remember obviously! But great fun - much easier than playing alone!
My wife sings, I try to sing (have one or two 'fun' songs.) We especially enjoy Dylan, Baez, Peter Paul & Mary and Leonard Cohen (even!) stuff as well as 'trying' to write our own. And Cassie, our spaniel, sings/howls her head off if I play a mouth organ (gob iron).
Bet you are glad you asked!
Exciting time for you btw - enjoy! We prefer being away in our van much more than staying at home these days!

------------- The older I get the better I used to be.
This is getting spooky, iggy, we are just buying an Adria too (paid for it on monday, due to collect it on 2nd November. I have to say that some of my best musical memories took place on camp-sites, but on a big trip around the USA rather than France.
Even if you ain't normally a 'clubby' person can recommend the Club - well worth joining for lots of reasons, including the fact that there are close ties (and influence) with Adria UK etc.
Couple of dealers used to throw in first years membership but not sure they do that now.
Link to Adria club here:

Lots of pics there of recent rallies etc. You may see our B&W spaniel!
Keep in touch?
(My Ma's family all from Kent btw = Sidcup/Bromley areas.)

We`re getting an Adria Twin 640 SPX, importing from Germany and all fairly straightforward so far.
I`m not sure if you can `private message` on this site but rather than bore everybody else with guitars and Adria`s, my e-mail is:
fletcher.kevin203 at gmail.com
I`ll have a look at the club site, thanks for that.
