I've finally got my licence back today. My PCV licence (groups D & DE) now run out in September 2021, and all my usual groups, including C1, now run out in September 2023. So my C1 licence seems to run out with my car licence.
It still could be though that I retain my C1 licence because I have groups D & DE. It would be a bit silly that I could drive a 12 ton 3-axle double deck coach full of people, and towing a large luggage trailer, but I couldn't drive a 5 ton van full of goods or a motorhome over 3.5 ton. Strange though that my C1 runs for 3 years although the D & DE only run for 1 year.
