By the sound of it, I’d say go for it. Damp is the only deal breaker - but if you want to go to Europe, the Euro thing is indeed something to consider. (But bear in mind it’s 2 days to the Channel ferry & there’s much to explore here.) Tyres will have to happen sometime anyway. You’ll need a habitation check for peace of mind (we had a bird nest in the gas fire flue) but it’s not expensive. We rarely use our awning. Look at how many empty bike racks there are (it’s our M-way game...) but if you’re a keen cyclist, you can get a rack fitted by a firm that knows the fixing points or you’ll get damp issues. Or carry the bikes inside the MH for now, secured in case you stop suddenly.
Agreed, damp is the one to watch for. Might be worthwhile investing in damp meter. I've never paid for a habitation check and you can easily print down a check list from the web. But if you do get one done, ideally it would be before you completed the deal.
I've seen a lot of bikes on the back of motorhomes. I just wish that footpaths and cycle paths were separate!
As for Europe, it's a day's trip to Newcastle and the ferry to Amsterdam (Ijmuiden). However it is a bit expensive and it's worth doing the extra miles to Hull.

Morning,We are just going to leave that one at the moment
I think I'd be a wee while before we went to Europe, and the bike rack would we handy,to take them anyway,if they don't get used ,no big deal but it's not a big selling point.
Still going keep an eye out.
Thanks for all your advice, got more information and learned an awful lot from you both.
Take care and stay safe.
Best of luck. Keep looking and the right one will turn up. Hopefully things will improve and you'll be able to look around a bit more. Beautiful Autumn day here but it's getting cold and I must remember to drain down the van before we get frost.
It goes for it's MoT (delayed 6 months) and service shortly. Hopefully no expensive surprises before Christmas.
Stay safe and warm. Keep in touch.
