Motor home would probably be a better description of what we’re going for now :)

You should be aware that unless you can drive a motorhome in excess of 3500kg the payloads are quite low and are often more expensive than the heavier ones as the over 70yr olds who don't retain their C licence tend to go for them'

to be honest a budget of 20k isnt going to get you a lot unless you snag a bargain - we have bought from Uber Leisure in Essex, but they havent updated their website in a while, but if you check their previously sold (inc loads and loads of photos of each vehicle) you can see the sort of prices dealers buy them for - and they will sell to the public, but you dont get any guarantees as you would from a dealer, so you need to put their provided test eqpt to the the test in particular the damp meter and make sure everything is working, fridge, heater etc. check previous mot history, vehicle ownership and finance and look underneath - we picked up 2 great bargains from there and saved around 10k off dealer prices, which makes your 20k budget 'do-able' though if you were able to go to at 25k i think youre options will be much better ( you will be buying a van that would be around 32-35k from a dealer)

is a layout that might suit you?

Swift Sundance 590RS Motorhome 2012 - you might get one with 5 belted seats - this seems to have 4 but the two rear facing seats might only need lapbelts ????

or even better for 4/5

Swift Escape 686 Motorhome 2011

https://www.uberleisure.com/stocklist/stock-detail/810

which has 6 belted seats .....

ps, you may have to give email details to access, but you wont get spam mail or constant mail drops, in fact weve never had an email off from - you need to act fast though if you see one you like as they dont hang about for long !
