Well a disagreement on what the R stands for, im not absolutely certain but i always tyhought/had been told it stood for reinforced.
U can get 175/70r13 tyres or 175/70x13 tyres, both are radials, so it does seem obvious.
However i will check at work tomorrow.

We have a Trafic and it goes round corners ok but any high side camper is not going to feel as stable as a car. Just done 2000 miles in the Trafic all around the highlands of Scotland and it never fell over once .
I won't make Silverdale this weekend. Spent last night at the Three Pigeons, Graigfechan. Even though we arrived late the landlord Jim managed to arrange sandwiches and chips after the kichens had closed. Brilliant bloke.
Normally there is a couple of camervans and a lot of tents. This time there was only us. Then the raincame and I realised people with tents obviously study the weather reports. At one stage I swear the van was floating.
Site had drained well by the morning so no problems getting away. Certainly is handling better with the overhead devoid of luggage or wife.
Yes I have one and I tried it fulland it was better, that and clearing out the overcab space. Much better now.
There was a horrific accident in Birkenhead in 1970 when a car which failed to stop at a junction hit a campervan/minibus broadside and knocked it over. Full poured in from tank and was ignited by a pipe someone was smoking. There was I recall seven people in it and no one got out leaving a 15 year old boy who had stayed at home an orphan.
Terrible consequence of a relatively minor traffic accident. Still shiver when I pass that spot. For years afterewards the hedge which had been burnt did not regrow.
