sorry can't answer that one but there are loads of guy ropes on it and on each carner there are some special (complicated looking) guys (ropes I mean), we have yet to understand. There are also loads of pegging places all round the tapes on the floor and on the bottom of the sides.
See my post above re rain! I have mailed the makers/importers to ask the question why the rain came in and have received no response. I'll try phoning again but they are always busy and only available mon - fri 10-i or something similar. Will probably end up talking to Sporting Supplies where we bought the awning. Don't think much of 'non' reponse.

Corner guys are the main support, with the 4 poles also pegged down. I mostly use only these 4 guys, but unfurl the others in windy conditions.

Delighted with this awning, I have recently purchased the custom inner tent to replace the previous cheap one I had, which did not fit properly.

Can anyone confirm what windows & flysheets there are on this awning?  And how many of the sides open up?

On the tunnel side of the awning there is a large zippable outer cover and also zippable flyscreen. On the opposite side ditto plus you can extend the outer up to make a canopy. The outer on this side also has a window. Not large.
On the left side, looking out from the van is a single door that can be folded back and a small window. on the right side looking from the van is an outer that can be rolled up. (Same size as other 2 large exits) and a FIXED fly screen.
Our preferences for this awning would be
more windows
possibility of opening up flyscreen on right.
Having said that it's brilliant to erect and dismantle and is therefore fab for touring

Thanks to George & Alex for the response to winter use. Went away this weekend with my nephew who has just bought one and he is delighted with his. Fortunatly for me! it was very windy so had a chance to see how his faired and it looked very stable, so my mind is made up.

Like many others, I think it would be a great improvement with more windows.
