 Ina thank you because I must admit I thought I was a bit pathetic to say I felt intimidated by eating a meal alone in a pub and glad to hear it is understood.

I think the problem is that in a conversation we here the 'tone' of the voice on a message board we just see the words and put our own 'spin' on the tone. I do not think canvasrep and I are a million miles apart.  I can see a smiling face at the end of canvasrep's post which I think says something even though the post came through a bit forthright.....

I'm sorry to here you feel intimidated by eating alone in a pub but can genuinely understand it. I travel a lot for work and until recently felt very much like you but I have now conquered my fear and regularly eat out alone - either that or another sandwhich in my room!

maybe you should give it a try sometime - choose a small country local then it wouldn't be so intimidating

We are back on the subject of Aires in the UK. There are a few, very few as far as I can make out.

The main problem here is that the UK Police do not take robust action against the "Traveling Community" In France they do not mess about and there is no drivel about "' 'uman rights". So their Aires remain free for bone fide users.
