My Kella standard is big enough for two and you are supposed to be able to un-attach the bedroom inner for even more room.
I attach it via Kador, figure of eight. Very simple.
My bedroom is going back as the clip broke and the another had to be broken to take it out. I may buy little Cabinier(?) clips when Vango replace it. Just in case.
I've got my LED lights; the ones that look like bulbs. Can't wait for it to get dark so I can see how bright they are!
I've parcelled up the inner from my awning ready to collected and inspected.
I also went to Wilkinsons and saw four Carabiner clips(?) that I will use to fix new awning. I shouldn't have needed to do this for the price of the Air Away should I.
Hi,SymbolLife,
Strange how we want the dark nights to end, then can't wait for it to get dark.Hope your happy with the lights, all though I haven't bought a set yet.You have had a few problems with this awning from when it was ordered to delivery, for a new item it should be spot on.putting it right is one thing but should you have the hassle when purchased new.You spent your money in good faith for an item that seemed to meet your requirements only to have dissapointment on more than one occasion,I hope all is sorted and works out for you
We've got a vango Kela Easy to erect, enough room for table and 2 chairs and then some. Don't forget pump has suction and blow valve and first time we used it the OH spent ages sucking air out before he realised his mistake dear oh dear!! A small whisky helped him recover
I'm looking at buying a vango kela. I saw one on display at Towsure and was impressed with the quality & size, but before I part with my hard earned money I have a couple of questions for you guys that have used them.
Do you ever have problems getting pitches because of the size ie width of campervan 2mtrs plus width or is it the length of awning 3.2mtrs. 5.2mtrs in all?
How do you get on with the campsites that state breathable ground sheets only?
I found the bedroom clips on the Kela almost impossible to undo especially the one near the end of one of the airbeams, I had to deflate it. We'll probably necer use the bedroom but if we do a set of different clips will be sued

I was sent a repaired replacement. I think they need to put the clips on an elasticated band at least! I also think the clips are poor quality for the price of the awning.
Hi we've got the vanco Kela, the ground sheet and floor carpet thing. Very easy to put up though didn't like the straps that went over the motorhome so this week I fitted a 3mtr awning rail. Much better fit now but have the annoying flapping sides as obviously they don't attach to the mh. I'm working on a couple of poles to sort this as if its windy it gets bloomin' cold!
No issues with the clips though maybe if the're cold they go brittle??
Possibly right about the clips and cold, hadders, but I do need it in late spring, early autumn.
There are 'grabber' type clips you can buy for extra pegging on tents...perhaps they would help somehow with the sides...connected to hoops and a windbreak pole?
