Dont think as many wave now as did a few years ago. If I can recognise a Motorhome or Campervan I will raise a hand, but was amused by a neighbour whoes sight was not quite 100% say and waved at Ambulances, Ice Cream Vans and White Van Man

I am fairly new to motorhoming, and think it is lovely to wave at people, your just being happy and socialable, some people are just miserable

Just got back from a 400 mile trip and I reckon about 80 percent waved, some even from other side of motorway.

mostly the people who ignore you are in new M/Hs   OH seems to think this may be because they are hired or maybe the HP payments are so high that it affects their mood.

We just think wheres the harm in it?

Being a new  (non HP paying) motorhome owner we disagree! 

We've just got back from a 9 night tour of the South West and found there were allsorts that didn't wave.  OH waves to everyone.
