presumably, Baconsdozen, you will not be able to take your Transit into London - that's assuming that you wanted to go there anyway. It wouldn't pass the new standards would it?

No,but if I want to go to London I'd go by tube or bus,I wont pay a congestion charge on the grounds that its just another fiddle to fleece motorists anyway.I also have an old London Taxi,due to have been scrapped because of these silly laws and rules,now happily rattling round Lowestoft.I so hate seeing parts of our heritage being melted down and sent to China in the name of 'progress'.Local paper has been in touch re the bans in my area,and the petition will keep you all informed of any progress.

Just an update....
Southwold has now joined those wanting to ban motorhomes from parking.The promenade areas will be off limits to motorhomes and campers.They are said to be considering setting aside an area where 24 hour parking but no sleeping will be allowed.Presumably the old bill will be supplied with meters to detect snoring!

Can you please clarify, has Southwold banned campervans and motorhomes totally from any car park or is it just overnight parking?
