There's alot of posts about taking your car and caravan on the tunnel, has anyone any advice on taking a motorhome on it? Having always taken the ferry I quite fancy the train.

My motorhome is 8.5 metres long with twin rear axles, 3.2 metres high. I rang eurotunnel and they said that it would be ok. Any comments appreciated.

Its no problem & its quicker--obviously you have to drive it onto the train but the single deck one you will be going on also takes coaches so its not that difficult to drive on-it costs a lot more tho--

Its quick and you will have no problem getting on and of with your camper.

If they can get a 53 seat coach in the train they can get your motorhome on!!! I was concerned the first time we took the van on the train but it was fine, there is plenty of room.

I can only say that I had no difficulty at all taking my motorhome on the EuroTunnel train. It was very easy to drive on, plenty of room. No gas appliance may be used of course so make sure you have a flask of coffee to drink en route. Enjay
