Hi all,

Just thought I would bring this back to the top for another try!!

This problem I'm sure would apply to many driveaway awnings and Hi Top vans

Thanks for the reply.

The trouble is it would be easy to forget,especially with two young kids,and throw open the door in the morning and tear the material.

I wondered about holding out the material with something? that would allow the door to slide past but then rain may be able to come in.Or having a stop on the door to prevent it going too far

Anythings worth a try,I don't want tear the awning the first time I open the door for a nice morning cuppa!!!

I'm going away in a week for the first outing in the van and awning so will have a look over a beer!
