hi

congratulations on moving from the "tuggers" community into the world of motorhoming. i cant think of anything you would need different or extra in a motorhome. you will probably find that moving from a caravan you don't need quite so many extras.

as for the bessacar, i cant comment from personal experience although we have been looking at them for the mother in law. i think they are a good move from a caravan as they are quite "english caravan like" inside. i don't mean this in a negative way at all. my mum adores her caravan but would be better suited to a motorhome. she doesn't like the european vans as they are not quite cosy enough for her and the bessacar fits the bill for her and where she would go. motorhomes all depend on what you are going to use them for. we went for our euramobil because we ski in the winter. an english van would struggle in the lower temperatures so european is more suited to us. in the same manner as a caravan you may get it and it may not be suited to you. we had 3 different van layouts before we found the right one for us. i don't know what extras it comes with but if your going abroad in it or wild camping solar panels are a good option as is satellite tv.

anyway good luck with the van, hope you haven't got to wait long for it and enjoy...keep us posted

hannah

Hi Alan

Ah, you've finally seen the light.

You will probably transfer most of the stuff from your caravan to your motorhome. You will want a hose to fill your water tanks, no lugging a roll along carrier any more that only lasts 5 minutes. Also you will need a couple of levelling ramps for any uneven sites.
