Can you reset it some way - I have a hand held unit that has a very small hole at the back under the battery, by inserting a pen tip it resets the unit to factory settings, you will need to reload the unit once this is done so make sure you have the software

it sounds like the application is not on the unit have you backed up your unit. if you have then wipe your card or hard drive and then reload every thing back

providing you took a back of you sat nav
