I am desperately trying to find a motorhome for Geoff Holt for up to a week from today.
Who is Geoff Holt?
Geoff is a quadriplegic, paralysed from the chest down, and he is currently sailing single-handedly round the coast of Briatin. If he makes it, he will be the first disabled sailor to circumnavigate Britain single-handedly, just as he was the first to sail single-handedly around the Isle of Wight several years ago.
Geoff has sailed his trimaran from Southampton up the west coast, through the Caledonian Canal, and is now at Whitehills, Aberdeenshire. He has a crew of four who follow his progress around the coast. He has a specially adapted motorhome, a specially-adapted Land Rover with a telescopic crane and winch to lift him in and out of his boat, and he has a RIB support vessel.
His crew also have had the use of a motorhome up till today, but cannot get another till August 7. We are hoping to find someone who can supply a motorhome for this period to accommodate four people.
