Hi - Well this is my 1st post in here, we have just brought our 1st campervan and don't appear to have any manuals with it. It's a Talbot Express 1992 Rhaposody and we are struggling to work out how the blow heating works and how to set up the hot water heater.

Are the heating and water connected, IE: once you set up the Vaillant hot water heater does that feed the blow heating or do they run stand alone? We have a thermostat in the van with a flame and a fan image on it and a dial which looks like the temperature gauge and it blows on the fan option but cuts oit on the flame option. Out water heater is drained at the mo and the pilot light off.

Any help would be great as we are off on our 1st trip to North Wales next weekend and it might get chilly! Any suggestions on where to go in North Wales greatly accepted.

Thanks

Hi I am In Leicestershire, I now have another problem too. We have plugged the van into the mains and we have no power to the van at all when the switch is set to 240v, nothing works - as if there is no power running through. Are we missing something obvious? We have testing the cable and it works!

Thanks

Hi ,on the electrics side of things if your van is the same as mine check inside the cupboard ,at floor level .This is the one below the cooker and to the right. You should have the charger and circuit breakers in there, check they are lit up.Do you have a multimeter??Any and all breakers should be in the on position.

Check this first and let me know. Will talk you through the heater and water issues in the next one..

I do have an Autosleeprs manual for mine i will try to scan it for you ..

Regards Jim

Can't find anything, we have a control panel with triip switches, fuses etc above the fridge and all the trip switches are on. We have tested the electrics and the power is running into the van and through the 3 trip switches on the control panel but then the appliances the power runs to (Lights, Fridge & Heating) don't work! I reckon we need to get an electrician in don't you? These appliances do work as there is power to them on the leisure battery setting ummmmm

Would be gret if I could get the fridge and heating instructions off you.

Thanks Michelle
