I find the East Coast the worst for wavers Heppy,never get a good score on the A64,you are making me hungry talking about fish and chips though!!!!

This is my first post, so hello everyone!

I'm a relative newcomer, having bought my first van - a Romahome - in March. I just found out recenty that the 'unwritten rule' is that you wave to other motorhomers, not just those in Romahomes! Maybe there are others out there who don't know this either?

I'll be sure to wave to all vans from now on, even though the Romahome's so small that sometimes people don't notice it's a motorhome until we've passed!

Just back from Ravenglass  Cumbria C & C club site. Brill 5days a well deserved wind down.

on my start out I was very enthusastic when waving I started by using my right hand and then quickly reliased that this may not be seen by others on the motorway so swapped hands and got a better response. Even flashes off some white vans. yes i have had my glasses changed but I just got carried away. Even when there was no response I just cursed to myself and waited for the next m/h to pop up..

But sorry to say on my way back this afternoon the motorway traffic was a little fierce so pleas accept my sorry for not waving---- but actually no one waved to me.

Next time out I will be waving
