We just got hold of an '87 Merc coachbuilt (haven't a clue who the coachbuilder was, there's no markings anywhere), unfortunately it looks tired and weathered

Is there any product that can rejuvenate the paintwork and get rid of the grey oxidation runs?

Kev.

I would suggest T cutting and then a good polishing of Mer . Invest in a electric buffer to polish off the T cut and Mer. Its going to be a big job, but will be well worth it in the end. Good luck.

quite agree, I owuld no use tcut on the body,

For me it would be a real good soak in fenwicks caravan cleaner at a nice strong mix. Sprayed on through a good spray gun £9.99 at BnQ. I would do a little bit at a time using a nice soft brush to ensure that it agitates all the muck. Once done I owuld wash it again with Fenwicks in the normal way. Let it dry and a good polish with Mer or another quality polish using an electric buffer to buff it up. Dont forget to do the roof first!!! but dont climb on it to buff it unless you can. Also dont brush the windows cause they are easy to scratch. Far better to rinse the water off them and follow with some tcut on them or a specialist fenwicks window scratch remover.
