Thats cheap for a Bay nowadays--I bet it aint as good as it looks--unless they are desperate to sell--
I did nip into the garden to take me shot...and i will say Billy...it did have a fair bit of filler on it...but eh... it has got a good few years under it's belt...it's still a nice looking bus....

I expect it has loads of probs to be sorted out, but 5K is still cheap for one of these. I've seen empty shells with a knackered engine go for a couple of grand.
Hopefully its a 72 L and not a 73 L, to make it tax exempt.

Yeah we had the Westy Bay, great fun, then got the Westy High Top T25, again good fun, got our Hymer now which is a corking motorhome but still miss driving the ol Bay
Don't want to hijack this thread but have to tell you.
My parents in law have just bought a Bay LHD '79 and paid £6,500 for it from a dealer with no interior, no roof canvas on the pop top BUT it is absolutely solid with no filler anywhere, never been welded.
It had been parked on my drive for a couple of weeks because they didn't want to tax it until the beginning of this month .... when they drove it they found it had started to make a terrible noise, turns out the drive shaft and CV joints need to be replaced AND the dealer had just put a years MOT on it before they picked it up. Receipt says sold as seen, so I guess no comeback.
Have to agree with Nannycatch, we too love our T25 and the room.
Regards
Steve
