Hi,

this is my first overwintering of my motorhome and I thought I was doing well following various bits of advice on this forum.

1) used it till mid November ( and it will be back on the road Feb).

2) emptied tanks

3) battery on trickle charge

4) taken out cushions and stored them in the house.

5) Roll it up and down the drive once a week. etc.

6) gave it a good clean

However after only one month it looks like leaves which have fallen on the top have combined with rain water to make a nasty brown goo. This has now drained itself down the back of the van and left a deep brown stain from roof to bumper.

I have tried car wash and caravan Muk off which has taken some off but the brown stain is still pretty obvious. Anyone experienced this and found a suitable cleaner?

ERRRRR the colour of the base is embeded in the resin yes but the stain he has on it isnt, its on the surface and T Cut will take it off. I once bought a boat that had been moored up under trees for 8 months and was covered in leaf stains and bird crap.

T Cut brought it back to near new.

It;s simple, get your self some fenwicks and follow th einstructions, has never failed me.

One other thing when storing is make sure you leave all the cupboard doors open,

so the ait can move around, and leave the fridge open or it will get smelly.

Cheers everyone. I,ll have a go with T Cut on a small section and also get some Fenwicks next week to give it a good going over.
