Hi,

We've got a Merc Vito and last summer replaced double front seat with single seat with the hope to then attach it to a swivvel base.

My bloke ordered said base back in the summer, the money was taken, and that's been the last of it. According to other postings, caravanparts.co.uk (I think it was) seem to be a bit of to say the least, a disorganised, maybe cowboy outfit, and our money seems long gone and promise of a swivel base, the same.

A good 6 weeks ago we ordered the same part from Reimo.... Ok, so they haven't taken the money, but where has their site gone, and why doesn't the phone go through??

What's going on!!

We really want to get a swivell base, and in a perfect world, our money back from the first guy.

Any information or advice gratefully received.

When I converted my last VW I ordered lots of parts from Reimo UK the Manchester based company. 2 weeks later I got part of my order and was told the rest was 'on its way; when I enquired further I was told that they order a lot of their stuff on a regular basis and dont tell the customers that they will have to wait untill it gets delivered to them before the customers get it.

I dont order from them anymore, relying on Olearys for my stuff.

HI,

It's kind of weird that now the site doesn't even come up.

I always thought they were pretty reputable, maybe that's not so. We gave them six weeks as they'd said it coudl take that long, but now nothing.

Will look into Olearys.

thanks for that.

Marcle Leisure are always worth a try. Great service. Magnum Motorhomes and O'Learys are other reputable suppliers.

Best thing, before you order anything, is to have a look thru UKCS and see if there has been any adverse comment on a supplier

yep me to. Ordered parts arrived in two days. Suggest to get your money back from the first you contact your card company and inform them of the issue surrounding non delivery of item, you should be insured against such
