I suppose it all depends on what you've really got in mind?
A traditional,heavy,"proper" type awning?..or the more modern, lightweight,cheaper type,for occasional use?
I would recommend something like an OutdoorRevolution EasiPorch, which falls into the latter type. We've used ours' for a few years with no problems, easy to put up (and you can roll the whole front up when you don't need it fully enclosed) ...I think it was around £80+ when we bought it but I think it's been updated since though.
There are quite a few decent lightweight porches about now..Someone on here was looking at one by Sunnncamp(..which looked a better design than our EasiPorch becuase it also had a side door!)

I did fix an awning rail to our previous MH,bolted on the underside of the Fiamma awning assembly on ,I know that the Fiamma has an awning groove on the outer edge but I wasn't confident as to whether it would be up to the task of tensioning an awning off,as it is only really meant to support blocker panels(..the Fiamma is after all, only locked back into place by small luggs).
Obviously your height requirements(clearance for habitationn door etc) needs keeping an eye on.
Hope some of my waffle helps..
