We were in both but the one thing that made us give up the C&CC and just have the CC was the fact that with the CC you get to pick your own pitch and report the number back to the office, most of the C&CC sites we went on you were taken to an allocated pitch.

Yes the C&CC club wardens do take you to your pitch but only to make sure you pitch correctly i.e. not too near the adjoining units, if you don't like the pitch they allocate they will generally let you choose any pitch available.

We are in both clubs but I have to say that the C&CC age concession is big plus if you are over 55.

Maybe some let you pick another, the experience we had at Sandringham C&CC was the final straw, the warden (his picture is in the club literature) was at us all weekend for something or the other, we went with friends so were pitched next to each other, not parked straight, windbreak 2" too far that way etc. even had a complain that our chairs should stay on our own pitch not be between them where we were sitting.....

I think the chairs complaint was probably to do with fire risk, a fire could bridge the gap between the two units by using the chairs, the rules are there for you safety, it may seem over zealous but could save your expensive motorhome going up in flames. Just my opinion.

Answer - neither. Was a member of C&CC, but found their sites were generally not welcoming of children. This site is better than any club

hi we stayed at kessingland c & cc no problems then we moved to sandringham.c & cc we were 5 minuets early the warden said that she would have to charge us 5 pounds.for that sin we had already prepayed. for our site so i told her to . give me my money back which she did.very Quickly.i was rather upset and i drove all the way home to newcastle.i would never go back to sandringham. but apart from that the c& cc club.have always been pretty good.
