Anyone on here going to Bus- Types VW Show next weekend?
Its at Uttoxeter racecourse.
For those who dont know of it, its a VW camping weekend!
Lots going on and lots of fun to be had, helped by a few drinks!!!

I might take a look at that we live about an hour away so it would be a nice run out. Is it just Sat. & Sun and are there any camping equipment stalls etc.? Thanks for posting info.

This has always been held at Oswestry showground until this year, I think it has grown too big for here now. Shame because we used to enjoy gong along for the day, seeing all the campers, and buying a few things.

There are uaually quite a few stalls with camping equipment, clothes, bits for VWs etc.

Some of the campers are really a sight to behold.

Yes, you don't have to own a VW to attend these shows i used to attend them every year when they were held first  at  Stoneley(i think i spelt it right) Warickshire and then they moved to Great Malvern, one was the VW, festival and the other the  Van festival, i think for a short while it had been held near Peterborough, i still got the plaques that you could buy if you attended a show.  If the weather holds you can have a brilliant time.

Each year they held it here it was the first really sunny weekend of the year - so there were lots of sights to see and behold, a fair few lobster coloured bodies, - plus of course the magnificent artwork on the vehicles to admire.

we always go to vanfest at malvern every year for the whole weekend.....there is usually about 5 of us in great big motorhomes so we are easily spotted, we are all ex vw owners and have always had a great time whatever the weather, wouldn't miss that one for anything
