Hi there just bought a MH, second hand and it has a 2 " slash in the ali skin, Can this be repaired easy or should i just fill it with silicon sealant, any advice would be appreciated.

the slash has only just been done so no water damage inside.

i use flexi body filler and then just paint over it, worked well for me in the past and stops any cracking with movment. hope that helps.

The van itself is 18 yrs old so not too bothered about looks as long as it keeps dry that'll do for me.

Hi, fill the hole with sealer to make it waterproof and then buy a cheap air vent from an accessory shop and stick that over the top, air vents are fitted in different places so it wont look out of place. much easier than filling and painting.
