Hiya KC,

Are those extension thingies any good?

There is a big bleep in our boxer if you don't take the handbrake off properly so I tend to rely on that!

Martin polished the foot pedals the last time I drove it,had to remove my Uggs as my feet were sliding all over the place!

Do you think he had the insurance policy out? I was alone in the Motorhome?

Come on Girls

Are you all Chicken?

When I met my hub I didn't trust him with my car and caravan at first. (he is only PSV and HGV as well as army tanked vehicles - BUT I needed to check out his towing skills first)

Now we have our MH it is my job to drive it off the drive and park up for him. I also ramp it on site. He can just about manage a straight motorway as long as I am up front keeping an eye on things.

Hi June,

I was chicken, but I can honestly say my first time driving our pride & joy, was great drove round for  an hour and a half, but I don't like him driving my car,he is so used to 44ton, he takes left hand bends dead wide, and thinks he's got more than 5 gears.

Yes they are excellent. We have a Boxer and Mrs Zozzer is just under 5ft, using the hanbrake extension makes it a lot easier and safer to drive, especially on hill starts.

Sharing the driving is what made me do it as Bill is a long distance lorry driver so it's no holiday for him if he has to do all the driving

Chris

Oh so you'll be ok for the odd trip in the truck then. Roping and Sheeting is just like making a bed, remembering to tuck those corners in .

It is the hill starts that cause the most problem,I end up leaving skid marks () on the road!!

There is one particular nasty hill start on the way home from the dealers with a set of traffic lights at the top, they are always at red every time I encouner them so an extension could well be the answer!

Val
