We have seen motorhomes with storage boxes fixed to the rear cycle rack. The only ones I seem to be able to track down are the fiamma ultrabox but these seem very expensive. Does anyone know of any other manufacturer that might be a lot cheaper. The idea is great but nearly £300 just to store welly boots and bird food is a lot of money,
If you have a towbar you're not using, Bak-Rak do a box that fits onto their base rack. Both the rack and box cost £79 - so that's £158 for the lot. That said, I prefer the look of Fiamma's kit, but hope this helps.
Hi Smiffy, I have a fiamma back box for sale, it's the biggest one they make, I paid over £300 for it. I have had it about 18months on the back of my Auto-sleepers coach built. I have changed to a van conversion and the box will no longer fit, I am selling it for £100, I live in Stoke on Trent.
Smiffy, Thule also make a back box called Backup 900, but you also need a Thule carrier which fits to towball and a fitting kit. Harley John's is far cheaper!
