We have a 2002 Ravenna on a Peugeot Boxer which we are very pleased with,  but being quite tall ( 6'4'' ) I find the driving position a little too upright. This only really became apparent after a few months driving, getting used to it and trying every seating variation.( Test drives really need to be a couple of thousand miles but I don't think the dealers would wear it somehow.)

Anyway, I would just like to know if anybody out there has a Transit based Ravenna and is there plenty of room to put the seat right back for us taller chappies?

The caravan end of the van is perfect for us so if the Transit offers more room the we will see about changing, otherwise we will keep our Peugeot and just have more tea stops.

Thanks in advance for any info.

The seats in my van are very upright. I get around it by using one of those squishy polyester foam bead filled cushions in the small of my back which seems to help a lot.

In the car I have a gel seat which helps a lot as well, but the car seats adjust a lot more than the van.

These are the very thing!

Except you can buy them much cheaper in local Home & Bargain shops or Wilkinsons if you have one near. Also local motor part shops may stock them. As do the motorway shops, but very expensive!

the very thing I have

Thanks for the idea but what I really need is more leg room. In my van with the seat right back there is no space left to recline it to a comfortable angle for longer journeys and  I could still do with another 2'' or 3'' for my legs.

My trouble is I'm never happy!
