I’d be inclined to agree with delboydriver to a point, however, if you have an issue it’s always best to go face – to – face, as in the majority of cases, company’s do not want to spoil there reputation and a unhappy customer on there premises certainly does that!
I’d make a date to visit the company with your husband and ask to see manager.
The work carried out has to be guaranteed by the company as part of the sale of goods act. I.e. faulty goods should be replaced or repaired within a timely manner (usually a year) A leaky top box is one concern, but more importantly, the damage to your MH is even more critical. Make the manager aware that you are going to get a water ingress report completed on your MH and that they are liable for the bill, any work or costs you incur whilst trying to resolve this issue will be invoiced to the company until this matter is resolved.
Keep all receipts and make details of phone calls and costs, tell the manager that you will continue to retain all bills and receipts should you have to go through your solicitors. Remain calm and polite at all times – I recon you’ll have it sorted after the first meeting.
God luck
