Can anyone help me. I have a large 6 birth motor home that I am thinking of hiring out. Has anyone done this? If so can you give me a few tips on where to start and if it has been successful or merely a headache?

Never hired out a motorhome mine was a boat, but people do not respect others property and as far as they are concerned, they have paid for it and will treat it any way they like.   If you are prepared for that and covering the costs,  insurance is a nightmare,  

 Breakdowns also have to be considered at some point something will go wrong and you will be expected to fix it immediately if not sooner or offer replacement vehicle. 

Now narrowboats can be let through a company which deals with all the problems but after you have paid the company you still have a damaged boat for not a lot of profit.   Of course your resale value goes down.
