is there, in your opinion, a better time to buy motorhomes? i was chatting to someone about buying one and they suggested that it might be better to wait until winter....off-season......
not sure if i agree with that or not

well i personally think you can negotiate a better price in the winter for a motorhome as not everyone is an avid all year rounder . Thats what i did on the 2 motorhomew i have had and i think i had a bargain on both.
As i say it,s only my opinion but i hope it helps you plesae let us all know how you get on if and when you decide to buy one.
------------- you may be frustrated now but infront of me there is a big incline . yeh it may be slow but it is in front
thanks for that delboy. i'll keep you posted. we've just sold our motorhome and it was collected this lunchtime. we're on the lookout for a replacement, something newer and probably smaller.
i guess it's just a matter of being in the right place at the right time. but, you might have a point with making a purchase in the winter.

As you say its just a matter of being in the right place at the right time and the fact that you`ve alreay sold your van and have a wad of cash puts you in the driving seat.
I don't think it matters as much as it perhaps used to.
You should be able to negotiate a discount with no trade in, ask and if they won't think about it you can always walk away but they risk having it in stock for ages.
