what do you mean by stalled, was it when you started the engine and tried to pull away,if it has stood a long time the hand breke may have stuck on,and you were unable to pull away,as for the stearing as you say freezing up,if it has power steering and the engine is not running the the steering pump is not turning and the steering will be very stiff,as for the wheels freezing up this could be due to pistons in the calipers and the rear cylinders seizing up if the brakes were applied,my advice is if you leave it standing for a long lime, leave the hand brake off, but use wheel chocks on all wheels back and front, and before you use it after it has stood remove the wheels and check that the brakes are comming on and releasing again, and spin the wheels to see if they are free running and not making any noises while turning,if you can give the van a run at leased once a fortnight and this should help keep all the running gear free.also leaving it standing a long time will not do the tyres or wheel bearings any good.

If you cant do someone a good turn, don`t do them a bad one,its nice to be nice you know, and little things mean much more later in life.

hi again I have known about prob`s with these in the past as they are auto hydro drives,a friend of mine had one years back and his kept stalling after standing, the fluid if I remember right could get air locks after standing and also the fuel lines got air locks, and then the engine would stall and just about everthing locked up,he took his out at leased once a week for a good run after that and it seemed ok after that but was a bit costly on fuel,I dont know any more info on them,so sorry about that, but I hope you have no more prob`s now.this is like the one my friend had.
