My other half asked me the other night if you can get automatic camper vans (the type with a sleeping compatment over the driving seat (if that makes sence), not the retor style ones.
I orefer to ask rather than Google as that usually throws up more questions than answers.
there ya go, got a bit more time now to do the link etc for you.
Very few make vans with autos, I am racking my brains to think who does. I believe there is a Merc based vehicle but in the back of my mind I am sure I read they were discontinuing it.
Good luck with your search and if I remember any more I will post again.
I don't think Peugeot or Fiat produce an auto version of their vans, which are what most motorhome manufacturers use as the base vehicle for their van conversions and their coachbuilts. Ford do an auto Transit - so you need to find a manufacturer who builds on a Transit base. I see the one in Ali's link is an Autosleeper based on a Tranny. I used to have an auto Tranny - Autosleeper again, so they may be your best bet.
On the other hand, I am surprised that Mercedes or Volkswagon don't do an auto?

If you can't see the light at the end of the tunnel, just keep going till you go round the bend.
Mercedes do something called Sprint shift, but that is the one I think I recently read is being discontinued. You are right, the Sevel based Peugeots and Fiats don't offer autos AFAIK.
iveco do an auto , isuzi,. also you can have a click n go electric clutch , i have it on a vw lt50. works fine . vw do an auto or did i am sure on their t4/5.
