Where do members buy their roadside recovery to cover more than 30 days in Europe? rac NONO aa NONO. green flag the same.Help please.

I'm with Safeguard, gives full UK and European cover through the AA as part of the policy, and I can't find a maximum period for European recovery, it appears to be for the full year if I want to go for that long. My maximum has been 3 weeks, so I've never bothered to check though.

Hi, I have insurance and Recovery with Safeguard. Have an Autotrail Cheyenne. I am going to Spain to stay with my daughter for a while and phoned Safeguard today to ask about extended stays and recovery. They told me there was no problem and I could go as long as I wanted and as I had fully Comp with recovery I could get full recovery back to UK for the vehicle and passengers if required. (They will only cover vehicles for recovery under 20 years old.).
I also checked with Phantom and they can track the vehicle in Spain with no problems.

Hi,

Have a look at the German ADAC they appantly cover anyone from any european country and cover a number of countries that you would otherwise find it diffecult to arrange cover for, they also apprantly have English speaking operators. I haven't used them myself but i have been thinking about going to Morroco and from what I have heard they cover there also.
