I cant seem to get the heater working in my cab, the garage as flushed it out and i have cheked on their advice that there is enough water in the radiator. does anyone have any ideas

you have a choice of several things really.

1 the air tubes into the cab are blocked with leaves .

2 the hot/cold valve/ switch is not operating.

3 the levers are disconected behind the dashboard.

Is the heater getting warm or is your problem that the blower does'nt work on speeds 1 2 3 but works on max 4?

Had a similar prob with my Hobby 650, due to the size of cab didn't notice the blower was'nt working on low speeds hence it was always cold, solution, fitted a new resister box 10 mins of a job to fix

It could be an airlock, it's very difficult to bleed the old Ducatos. The best way to do it is to get the engine up to normal working temperature and park with the bonnet facing uphill, then with the heater control fully open turn the bleed screw located at the side of the heater air intake a couple of turns anticlockwise and leave it for several minutes with the engine running until there are no more tiny air bubbles coming from the thread. Tighten firmly the bleed screw. Be very careful not to undo the bleed screw too far or you will get a faceful of boiling coolant.

This procedure may have to be carried out again after a subsequent journey.

Air is not only trapped in the heater itself  but also in the highest part of the engine.
