I don't think you'd be waving at motorhomes Val, you'd be closing your eyes and praying! lol The last time we went there my OH was a bit under the weather one day so I went out on my own to a village up in the hills. There was an American woman sitting behind me on the bus and every time it went round a bend she said 'Oh my God!' I'm sure she must have thought she wasn't going to get off alive. I just looked out of the window and enjoyed the scenery!

Well i must reply to Tigermouse, when i was at school ie many moons ago', i use to partake in scooter racing ie. souped up lambrettas and vespas, it was a sort of rivalry contests between the various clubs(and coffee bars that used to sponsor the events) along the coast from my home town to Salerno and my sister in Italy still shows the many trophies i won, although this was very much against my parents wishes, you can imagine why?, but there you go, sometimes i wonder what life would thrown at me if i had not come to England all those years ago'.
I know it's a bit late in the date to say this, but buon giorno wineciccio (suppose it should really be buona sera)! Got to ask you - which was your home town?

Buona sera, my home town was and still is in some respect (i do have two sisters there) Castellammare di Stabia, it could have become the Benidorm of Italy but the italian tourist board voted against the changes and obviously the building of so many hotels and restaurants, now even in the summer is desolated , well there you have it, don't know if that was the right decision or not??
