 I have a Garmin C510 and a new update Garmin City Navigator® Europe NT 2009 v11 is now out, I have been told it will include new directions for lorrys/bus (motorhomes) that will keep you away from the narrow lanes. The 2008 version has this also but still directs you into the lanes.

Has anyone got the update and does it work?.

I have got the update but am not sure that it is any better than the 2008 version. I too was told that it had the lorry option but there is nothing different on the menus. The lorry option only slows down the arrival time on mine. (I think!)

 Suggest you contact Garmin. I will email them aswell.

Thank you for your email. That is not something which we have added to the new mapping. We are looking into adding it in the future but it is not available just yet.

I was told at the NEC that this would be due in 2009 so perhaps we will get then

I use Garmin, from 2007. I've been told that the update still doesn't have the new roads round here on it so I haven't bothered wth it. I'll make do till they get the lorry option sorted and on it, and probably just buy a new one then.
