Thanks for your reply, but a Vaillant Mag 125 is a Vaillant Mag 125 no matter what it's fitted to, so I don't really understand the purpose of your question! However, if it helps, it's fitted to my 1986 Talbot Express based Autosleeper Talisman.
Well there you go, now you see the purpose of my question, so its one of those upright water heater, am i right?, now i can ask a very dear friend of mine and see what he comes up with, by the way you don't say what is wrong with yours, perhaps someone on here might be able to give some help!
If you read my original post, you will see that I am asking about a USER manual, not a service manual. There is nothing at all wrong with the heater; I don't need spares, I just need to know the proper procedures for lighting it, regulating it, draining it, etc.
I only added that info because wineciccio was asking. If you're Vaillant trained and you are familiar with these units, perhaps you could give me the information I'm after?
I have one of these in my 1984 Talbot van but it has never worked from when I bought the van. I did not think they were repairable anymore. A more modern replacement seems to be one of the Morco units but they are not cheap.
Can any Corgi registered Engineer fix them? and do they have to be removed from the van to do it because it's very tight in the shower room.
Regards
Peter
I posted the same message in the Caravan section and I got a reply from Gary at Arc Systems (who also thought I had problems with the heater!). He offered to help as he has repaired these in the past. Spares are available from various sources; just Google Mag 125.
I wondered if you might be able to do a copy of this heater manual for us as well, we have just bought our first talbot express harmony unfortunately without any manuals at all and at the moment we are struggling to figure out how some things work.
Any help or direction pointing would be very much appreciated.
