Woke up this morning to 10 inches of snow how exciting is that driving down to folkstone and tunnel in the morning i hope france is reasonably clear of snow/ice
I am not going to miss the constant pessimism/bad news we are bomb-barded with from the media .
Have a safe journey. From the weather maps it looks as if the Low Countries and Northern France look similar to us but once you get a bit south it should be OK. Are you going via Millau? If so you might encounter a bit more snow on that route.
If things do'nt improve, you might end up with me on your tail i'm considering doing the same as soon we finish looking after our grankids, mid term already eh, sometimes i wish i had been a teacher rather then a civil servant job. Anyhow what ever happens you HAVE A GOOD TRIP, enjoy 2day, b.......cks 2 2morrow.
Well the snow was not so bad arrived Folkestone thursday clear , friday was sunshine all the way to Remalard.Woke this morning to sleet /snow all the way to tours then sunshine to bordeaux.

Hope that you can't read Spanish or French then because they like a bit of doom and gloom as much as the Brits - anyway have a great time - its got to be better than here
I really miss not being able to keep up with the news from home when away and feel a bit too removed at times and miss the likes of Sky News. But then again that might not be a bad thing, eh.

I dont miss any news when i am away . You realise how we are all being manipulated in our actions by the politicians and media and how very little we can do about it.I have come to the conclusion what really annoys them if you ignore them and get over the channel as often as possible.
Our 6 months touring last winter was great and we are off again in october for another 7 months cant wait
