We have a 1984 4-berth Renault Traffice Holdsworth conversion camper van and want to get an awning to give us a bit more space - poss including sleeping area as have just got bed boards for kids at the moment.
Any advice on what to get - something not too heavy, easy to put up?
Yes i was going to advice the same, and take a look at RIVERSWAY LEISURE CENTRE they got a sale on, but then they always have??? The one i bought comes with a free sleeping inner tent!!
or a trio drive away that clips to the van gutter with 8 section as in my gallery.

If you cant do someone a good turn, don`t do them a bad one,its nice to be nice you know, and little things mean much more later in life.

Hi Andrea welcome to the forum, I`ve got a Royal Traveller 2 for sale which would fit your van fine,if you google it you will see what it looks like (same as RT 3)and gives spec as well.
I`m looking for £75 and my Daughter lives in West Bridgford so am in Notts a lot.

Hi pete, I've never seen the 8 section in use, is it easy to unfasten when you want to drive off? or do you have to slide it out like a awning on a awning rail?

yes it is Rabb, you just ease the the top section verticle and its will come out easy, when refitting after a day out just hold it to the gutter ease it up again and it pops back in,my awning back unzips and rollls up so it very easy to do,I use the van steps to reach it as my van is quite high,on mine I have three pieces.
