Just been a case in Central Scotland where the driver was sitting in the car with a half bottle of vodka. When approached by the police she claimed that the keys were on the floor in front of the passenger so she had no intention of driving. The police took the case to court and the sheriff found her not guilty. But funnily enough the defendant was the fiscal( prosecutor) for that court, so knew the law and the sheriff. Sometimes it is what and who you know.
