Hi all,

Thinking of running my sink pump, fringe and an additional light of a leisure battery.  I was thinking of just connecting this individually to the battery each with an inline fuse.  Would this be ok?  Also i was going to charge this while camping with a solar panel and just connect to battery while stationary?  will this be ok?

it would be okay for minimum use but i would buy a split charge relay system you can buy them off the net for about £25.00 or so and it will do the job very well for you.

are they simple to wire up?  would i have to connect to alternater tho?

hi mate very easy to connect you will get a simple wiring diagram with the kit it works via a relay not your alternator.

A smartcom relay only needs wiring to the vehicle battery and only switches the relay to the leisure battery when the vehicle battery has reached a charging voltage.Remember to fit fuses to any wiring added. The smartcom relay is normally used to switch a high power relay for charging the leisure battery
