We are just going down the A38 to Kingsbury Water Park for a couple of nights, only 50 minutes drive for us but guess what! next to a canal and pub

Hope you had a fab bank holiday weekend?

We've just got back from 6 nights in South Cornwall (Roseland, Marazion & St Ives) and the weather was great.  Only rain we had was for an hour on Thursday afternoon - not bad for the UK eh?!

Got over 300 photos so need to sort and get on the blog.  Update to follow!

Oh no!  Been to chiro and got to have referral to a consultant and an MRI done.  Hoping Doc will give me referral letter and our Benenden health cover will then cover the cost.  If not I will just pay to get it done pronto.

So what is happening to Hubby's knee then?

Good luck with all that Ali.

3 months after his op and he's just not healing.  He can walk miles (as we did on holiday each day!) with no problems BUT he still cannot kneel down or come down stairs/steps without any pain.  A bit of a problem for a builder!  So still not back at work and on SSP (just about covers the food bill each week!).  He has another physio session today and I have managed to get his appointment with the specialist brought forward from 1st July to 28th May.  They may need to re-operate.

Nightmare year!

Oh no!  All those trips planned too.

I've managed to get a referral to an ortho surgeon, not for surgery but a consultation and it has been approved by the healthcare peeps so hoping for sometime next week.

Can you not get a private appointment for hubby quicker?  A consultation is not overly expensive at around £100 - £150.  Might speed things up a bit for you?  Mind you, it's the twelfth today lol, where has May gone?

Like you say Ali, where is May going?  He only has just over 2 weeks to wait now so in the scheme of things it's not too long to wait I suppose!

I've just booked a site for Christmas so hoping it's all over by then!!
