yes and no, Yes I have some, but never used them on my van, but My friend (yes i do have some) got his Hymer stuck whilst we were away over easter. Result was call the camps ite owner to get us out with his 4x4. So not the best thing ive ever bought, but still hey ho I will use them one day. Best thing ive used is me snow chains on a field, site owner was not too happy but the van got out dead easy.
function SWGuardianWindowOpen(a, b, c){return(window.open(a, b, c));}
I have 2 sets of Fiamma grip tracks and they have got me out of several sticky situations. The trick I find is to assess the ground first and if its looks soft put your driven wheels on the first set of grip strips, when you come to leave place the second set in front of the first and hey presto away you go. I also find as they are flat and only a tyre width wide they are easy to wash under a tap and to store.
bread tray bases make good tracks,cut the base of the tray into pieces as wide as your tyre in squares or oblongs then joined with heavy duty cable ties,they then can be folded over for storage,and are easy washed off at the tap after use.

If you cant do someone a good turn,don`t do them a bad one,its nice to be nice you know,and little things mean much more later in life.

Great Pete, but where do you source breadtrays? Surely they belong to the bakery or is the breadman heaven sent and gives them away.
The griptrack I have seen advertisede were roll-up items tied to the back of the van so you pull them with you as you drive off. Seem ideal to me but at £60!!!!

The Fiamma ones are much cheaper that that and come with a pre drilled hole you can attach rope to allowing you to drag them along behind once you have sufficient traction and recover them when on firm ground. As I mentioned earlier with being flat they pack really well in a small space
