Hello

We have a Ford Herald motorhome.  Where we go they will be changing from annalog to digital in June.

Please can anyone help us as to what we need to buy for the motorhome.  We really do not have a clue and looking at shops etc. we are becoming very confused. 

We would like to know what sort of a tv, aerial or dish(? at ?) and anything else you think we shall need.  Names would be good, we know what to look for then

Thats the cheapest package i can find on evilbay, but they can surf for a Pace 12v/240v system like the one i have, but they do tend to fetch around the £60 mark, but then you still have to source a dish,tripod,sat finder, coax & f connectors etc

Cheapest way to do it is to ask friends for an old box & dish then make tripod out of an upturned clothes drier

Supose it's a case of how deep is your pocket mate

Are you sure your tv is not already digital enabled, if it is all you need is a decent ariel.

Hi Theresa.

I work all day every day with such products.

You have a couple of options depending on where you intend to travel.

If you are travelling a lot on the continent, then you will need a FREESAT box, such as a GRUNDIG GUFSAT01HD and a dish 50cm or better such as the MAXVIEW omnisat kit.

Down towards southern france or spain, an 80cm dish is advisable.

If you are just staying around the UK, then a good antenna such as a STATUS or OMNIMAX will be fine, with a dvb (Freeview) box.

I assume you will be wanting to run these items on 12v, but if you are on hook up or an inverter, you can use a sky box and dish.
