Glorious weather wasn't it!  Looks like you had fun as always, how is OH's knee?  I did much better this weekend even doing a bit of driving and kayaking.

It was wonderful - hope it means it's gonna be a great summer?!  Today is horrible down here in Bude.  It's blowing a hooley and tipping down!

His knee isn't too bad - still not healing of course.  He managed the miles and miles of walks we did OK but still can't kneel or manage stairs/steps without pain.  His appointment with specialist is tomorrow so hoping to know a bit more then!!!  Thanks for asking.

Glad you're feeling better and able to enjoy life a bit more!

Which site is the St Ives one? We have a MH and would love to visit St Ives next year at Whit Week. I like the look of Polmanter as it has a pool the kids will love and its within walking distance of the town.

I see you are off to Stoke Gabriel CC, we've just come back from a long weekend at Whitehill which is also near SG. Have you been before? The "River Shack" cafe in SG serves wonderful lunches but OH gave the farmhouse cider the thumbs down! We cycled from the site and didnt we know it the next day, some of those hills are steep!!  They have also just started a ferry service once a day to Dartmouth on a Monday and Tuesday from SG.

We use Ayr Holiday Park in St Ives.  As you can see it has the most wonderful views from most, if not all, of the pitches.  No pool on site though.  It's an easy walk into St Ives - harder on the way back UPHILL with a belly full of Cornish Rattler cider!!  I know it's a long way off but if you are serious about staying there I would enquire now because they are booked up from year to year, especially bank holidays/school holidays!!  We were lucky to get in for Christmas this year!

We have stayed at Stoke Gabriel a couple of times.  Lovely CC site.  We love the walk down to the village.  Nice pubs!  Can you see a theme running through our trips???!!!

I am now sat here dreaming of our next trip!!

We love the New Forest too. When we lived in Berkshire it was right on our doorstep so didn't use it as much as we should've. 

Counting down the days till our next trip now - hoping this glorious weather lasts......until October!!
