Thanks everyone.
Jayney, it's a 1700 petrol engine. We decided that diesel was probably a bit too sluggish without turbo and there weren't many around anyway. We did enquire about having a petrol engine converted to lpg but then worked out that we could probably do more than 8,000 miles on petrol for what it would cost! We're picking it up on Monday because we're off this weekend in the folding camper (for the last time - sob!) then next weekend we'll go through it and get little bits of "modernising" done to it. We might get around to a weekend towards the end of September but we'll have to see how it goes. It looks like a Dave - Terry (himself) said does it have to have a name and I said it does, because almost everyone else's has!!
I don't think we'll be going to Wigan at Bank Holiday weekend.
Kingo - we'll definitely wave if we see you - I hope you've got your UKCS sticker somewhere prominent. I've got one ready for the van. We're going to be in Bala this weekend - I don't think that's south enough to be called mid Wales, is it?
